Neodymium magnets, also known as NdFeB magnets or simply Neo magnets, are the most prevalent magnet elements used in high-tech actuators and devices. They quickly acquired market dominance after being launched in the mid-1980s due to their high magnetic strength and resilience to demagnetization. They lack the high temperature resilience of other magnet materials, but can be used in situations with maximum working temps of 220 degrees Celsius.
